Getting there: Taxis are available at the airport and cost approximately €25 to the hotel. All prices subject to change.
Driving directions:From the airport, follow the signs for Hania town centre. Once in the centre, follow signs for Kastelli/Kissamos. Continue for four kilometres in a westerly direction until a Renault car showroom (right) and BMW car showroom (left), and turn left for ‘Galatas/Daratsos’. After 200 metres, take the left fork to Daratsos and continue up and over the bridge running over the motorway. Follow the road uphill all the way to the village square. Turn left into square and cross it. New Kydonia is opposite on the hill top, follow signs and take first right up the hill and turn sharp left into the car park.
Getting around:Resorts on Crete are small and can be explored on foot; bicycles and scooters are also available to hire in most towns. Taxis are relatively inexpensive for short journeys. A car is the best way to get around the island.
