Santorini Airport (JTR): Approximate driving time to Hotel Daedalus is 10 minutes and distance is 4 kilometres (2.5 miles).
Getting there: Taxis are available at the airport and fares to the resorts cost between €15 and €25. Many hotels offer complimentary airport transfers. Alternatively, a bus departs every two hours for Fira bus station and costs €1 for a single ticket. All prices subject to change.
Driving directions: From the airport, head in the direction of Messaria, then Karterados, and on to Fira, where the hotel is located.
Getting around: Bicycles can be hired in most resorts and frequent local buses connect many destinations on Santorini. Ferries to other islands are available from Fira port. A cable car takes visitors up the side of the volcano. A car would be useful for exploring the island.
